Part II: After you submit you will get an automatic confirmation email. You must respond to the automatic confirmation e-mail with the following attachments at the same time:
-Unofficial transcripts
- A short essay, not to exceed 2 pages, double spaced, on one of the following topics: "How lawyers benefit society," "How lawyers shape the morals or ideals of society," or "Explain your interpretation of equal justice."
- SAR (if applicable) and
- Recommendation Form completed by your professor (click here to download the form)

In order to participate in the CLEO College Scholars Sophomore Summer Institute Program, you must be either a minority, low-income or otherwise disadvantaged student.

1. A student may be determined to be low-income only if he/she earned less than 150% of the HHS poverty guidelines AND his/her parents earned less than $40,000. An independent student may be determined to be economically disadvantaged if his/her income is less than 185% of the HHS poverty guidelines.

COMMITMENT AGREEMENT
This program will extend through the academic year for continued enrichment with mandatory Saturday seminars.

I understand that by applying and being accepted to the program, I am making a year long commitment which begins with the four-week summer program, and requires my continuous attendance at a series of Saturday seminars over the course the 2010-2011 academic year.
