| The
CLEO Mentoring Network is Growing!
We are
pleased to report that the CLEO Mentoring Network (CMN)
is on the threshold of reaching the "100 mentor"
milestone we have been in pursuit of since first establishing
the program. With that said, however, 100 mentors should only
represent the "tip of the iceberg!" At present,
there are still more than 65 CMN protégés in
need of willing attorneys to serve as mentors. It is incumbent
upon all of alumni and friends within the legal community
to not let our students matriculate through school "Pro
se." Please click on the link below to download the CMN
e-brochure and learn about the network and signing up as a
participant. We thank you in advance for your assistance!

| Come
Interact with CLEO online!
Are you
"LinkedIn"
with CLEO? Do you receive any "Tweets"(Students)(Alumni)
from us? Have seen us on "Facebook?"
If you answered, "No," we encourage you to stay
"plugged in" by using one or more of these cool
networking tools!

Do
We Have Your Current Contact Information???
We sometimes
hear from alum and students that they don't receive any correspondence
from the organization. If you're one of those individuals,
chances are, we don't have your updated contact information
on file. To help remedy this dilemma, our "crackerjack"
IT specialist created an online form (www.cleoadmin.com/update.cfm)
where you can input your current data. And if you have any
exciting news you would like to share with the CLEO family
please provide it in the appropriate space. Lastly, special
thanks to those persons who have already taken a moment to
update their info!

Meet
a CLEO…Fellow: Erica Molina
|
A rising 2L at Albany Law School in Albany, NY, Erica is a life-long resident of Jersey City, NJ who has had a passion for the law for as long as she can remember. As a differently-abled student, her long-term career goal is to be a fierce "advocate on behalf of those with physical and/or mental disabilities."
|
 |
In Erica's
view, CLEO represents "an opportunity for students who have
not had access to the same resources/advantages as others
to succeed in the legal field. CLEO helps to do away with
social, economic and physical barriers, and allows students
to achieve the various goals they've set out for themselves.
Erica plans to take summer classes in addition to interning
for a New York-based organization. We wish Erica well as she
continues to pursue her dream of becoming an attorney!
